# CLI 3.0.1 is not working

Checking in to see if anyone else is having issues with the latest CLI (3.0.1)? Not able to run any of the `au` commands once a project is scaffolded and npm packages are installed. I get “invalid command: build” for example. `npm start` does the same thing.

isn’t it `makes` instead of `au` for Aurelia 2 apps? I didn’t check if the CLI 3.x is for Au1 or Au2 but if it is for Au2 then you should try `makes`, you can see that in the Aurelia 2 [readme](https://github.com/aurelia/aurelia#getting-started)

Is this still not resolved?  
May I ask your nodejs version, and npm version. Also please share the full console log for the error.
