Not so much a framework specific question, but considering 301 redirects are not possible using javascript, does anyone know how SEO is impacted through the use of route redirects? For instance…

`{ route: 'home', redirect: '' }`

Will Google be smart enough to treat **[mysite.com/home](http://mysite.com/home)** in such a way that a 301 redirect would cause Google to index only **[mysite.com](http://mysite.com)**?

So google bot can follow javascript redirects pretty well and from what I have read it can treat them like a 301. [https://builtvisible.com/javascript-framework-seo/](https://builtvisible.com/javascript-framework-seo/)
