I had such a hard time searching for ‘Aurelia 2’ discussions on here and Google because ‘2’ doesn’t lend itself to search.

Think about Aurelia 3, 4, etc and then having to weed out search results from Aurelia 1, Aurelia 2, Aurelia 3, etc

The codename can be unofficial, and only act as a search term / hashtag.

‘Aurelia 2020’ is silly because:

  1. It doesn’t help the situation with search (see above; ‘2020’, like ‘2’, is not a good keyword for search).

  2. ‘2020’ means that Aurelia 2 will feel outdated come 2021,2022,…, which means that as time passes, the brand depreciates in value, rather than appreciate. This is the opposite of what we want!

Aurelia (Aurelia 2 reference to version)… Maybe you won’t have 20 versions like React but you might have a few more so don’t change the name of the website or anything.

And for search keyword my primary suggestion: Aurelia Alchimia (‘gold alchemy’ lol)

Other suggestions: Aurelia Amped ; Aurelia Bolt ; Aurelia Voltage…

I may or may not have an interest in electrical engineering.

Wow, you are great at this. Alchimia actually is pretty great:

  1. Has the same SYLLABLE STRESS as “Au-Re-Li-A” ==> “Al-Chi-Mi-A”

  2. Fits thematically with Aurelia, Durandal, and such

  3. Fits semantically: the goal of alchemy is gold (Aurelia). Think: “Alchemy is: turning useless led (DOM) into gold (Aurelia)“

  4. Easy to remember (because of theme-fitting above) — Just think of “gold” and then arrive at “alchemy” by synecdoche. See Diachrony Diachrony and synchrony - Wikipedia
