Aurelia V1 - "Handling Links" Help Section missing too?

Hi guys,

I just realized that another section for V1 is missing. Few months ago it was “CLI Bundler Cookbook” section, where I was looking for “wrapShim” option.

Now I could not remember for the life of me name of HTML attribute that I need to prevent router from hijacking hyperlink. This section has also been removed in new V1 documentation.

Luckily, again, I found it on GitHub, here Skipping Click Hijacking. Raw .md file.

I also noticed that Google cannot find anything of new version of Aurelia v1 documentation. I know that Aurelia v1 is in maintanance mode, but this just makes everyone’s life more difficult.

Regarding Aurelia v2, as far as I see Google does not see new documentation as well. For example, try to Google “aurelia Skipping Click Hijacking” and you’ll get nothing.

Is it possible to improve this situation? Both for Aurelia v1 and v2?

BR,
Nenad

Thanks for letting us know. There was a lot to migrate from the existing docs, so a couple of things fell through the cracks. Will get this sorted out.

Hi, me again.

I just read your reply on another post, so it prompted me to write again. Documentation for Aurelia v1 was Google Search-able for a few days after you replied to me here, than it dissapeared again. I have to constanly go to aurelia-documentation repository whenever I am looking for something. It really makes life unnecessary difficult.

I understand that you guys want to push for increased adoption for v2, but we cannot just stop using v1. Is there any way to make full documentation from aurelia/documentation available/searchable on web?

Also, as good as v2 is at this point, I hope that team does not repeat some mistakes from v1 related to searchable documentation, npx makes, source maps, etc.. Ecosystem needs to be robust for someone who is trying Aurelia for the first time.

So, yes, I am rooting for v2 to hit the ground running, but please, be kind Aurelia v1 too.

I’m currently going through all of this and ensuring parity with those v1 docs. There was migration to the new docs and restructure, but understandably some stuff got lost by the wayside. I’ve got a batch of changes coming asap.
