Does SEO work with with i18N?

I was just reading the Google recommendations for SEO, where it emphasises that it picks up the keywords from the headers etc.

How would this work when you have something like ?

SEO wise not at all, thats why you should add the default Text in h1 as well. Its going to be replaced anyways by i18n. But moreover its anyways tricky for an SPA
